Item#JN2229-Amazing Hobe'ca 1950s green emerald rhinestone and green jade necklace,earrings,brooch pin,set on mesh gold-tone metal.Gorgeous Hobe' Parure set,beautiful examples of high-end Hobe' designs with elaborate rhinestone decorations.Amazingly,this set is made different then most of his jewelry,the center piece comes off and can wear as a brooch,necklace,earrings.Hobe jewelry was often hand made with high-quality materials.This parure set is just breathtaking on,green rhinestones are dazzling and lovely green jade stones,such a unique design on necklace center piece.This elaborate "Hobe" necklace is 15" long by 1/2" wide with jade stones on each side and three dimensional center piece that is also a brooch is 2 and 3/4" and 2" wide,clip earrings are 1 and 3/4" by 3/4".The rhinestone and jade stones are all prong set.Their has been some repair by a skilled person,on the back of necklace, where rhinestone came away from mesh,you can see with a loupe,this doesn't effect the beautiful or value,because this is a hard-to-find necklace set and is still in exc.condition.Has "Hobe" in oval with copyright over the O is signed on necklace and Hobe on each earring.Hobe in and oval,with copyright over the E in use from 1958 to 1983.Hobe in oval,with copyright over the O is unclear when this mark was first used,but i do know this Hobe is a 1940s by looking at the center piece,the pin head is past the safety-clasp.This Hobe parure set elegant for wedding,pageant,prom or parties.Rhinestone and mesh gold-tone metal in exc.condition almost new look.Price: $285.00
